2020 Christmas Message
2020 has certainly been a year that no one will forget.
2020 - A year to remember
There’s no denying it’s been a difficult year. We were fortunate that the agile nature of our business allowed us to move to a work from home model ahead of government guidance and implement our robust business continuity plans early on. Regardless, it still involved re-adjusting how we worked internally to deliver on our commitments to customers and keep operations running day-to-day. It involved digging deep and working the long days to get things done in the right way.
COVID-19 did however present us with some opportunities as we took a magnifying glass to our business strategy and operating model and used this as an opportunity to drive out business improvement initiatives across the company.
We've also been fortunate to lead and participate in a wide variety of incredible projects this year. The successful engagement in these where we had to quickly adapt to be 100% remote should not be underestimated and I'm proud we have not compromised on quality because of this.
It's also been fantastic to see the incredible growth of MWEDGE deployments into some of the word's biggest broadcasters within some of their most prestigious and critical workflows.
Alongside the professional achievements, we were also delighted to celebrate the safe arrival of two babies this year!
Heading in to 2021 stronger than ever2020 may have had its challenges, but we’re going in to 2021 stronger than ever. We’d like to thank our customers for your continued loyalty and support you’ve given us this year. We would also like to thank our partners for navigating the covid storm with us together. Strong customer and partner relationships have been more important than ever in 2020.
The key ingredient to our strength as a business is our people. The whole team pulled together, each and every one working hard for each other and our customers – continually striving for excellence in everything we do. The positive customer feedback we have received this year makes me feel very proud.
Unfortunately, we can’t have the normal Christmas party to say thank you to the team this year but on behalf of the management team, my sincere thanks to everyone.
I look forward to what we can achieve together in 2021 and celebrating the company's 50th anniversary.
Wishing you and your families a safe and happy festive season.
